To help your cozy home pieces stay beautiful and last for years, we’ve put together simple care instructions for each category of items we offer.

🧺 Textiles (Blankets, Throws, Pillow Covers, Runners)

  • Machine wash on gentle or delicate cycle
  • Use cold water to maintain color and prevent shrinkage
  • Use a mild detergent (no bleach)
  • Tumble dry on low or air dry
  • For woven, knitted, or delicate fabrics:
  • Lay flat to dry to keep shape
  • Avoid pulling loose threads — trim them carefully instead

🛏️ Decorative Pillows (Filled Pillows)

  • Spot clean with a mild soap and a soft cloth
  • Do not machine wash unless noted on the product page
  • Air out occasionally to keep fresh and fluffy
  • Avoid harsh rubbing on embroidered or textured designs

🕯️ Candles & Wax Products (New Only)

  • Keep wicks trimmed to ¼ inch
  • Let the first burn melt across the top to avoid tunneling
  • Never leave candles unattended
  • Store away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration
    (Note: Pre-Loved candles are not sold.)

🍽️ Ceramics (Mugs, Plates, Vases)

  • Most new ceramic items are dishwasher safe, but handwashing helps them last longer
  • For handmade or delicate pieces:
  • Handwash only
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes (hot to cold)
  • Do not use abrasive scrubbers on glazed surfaces

🌿 Wood Decor (Bowls, Frames, Trays)

  • Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth
  • Avoid soaking or submerging in water
  • Apply a small amount of food-safe mineral oil occasionally to maintain finish
  • Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent cracking or fading

🧼 Glass Decor (Jars, Candle Holders, Figurines)

  • Handwash with warm, soapy water
  • Avoid abrasive pads that can scratch the surface
  • Dry with a lint-free cloth

🪞 Mirrors & Metal Decor

  • Clean with a soft microfiber cloth
  • Use gentle glass cleaner on mirrors
  • For metal:
    • Avoid harsh chemicals
    • Polish lightly with a soft cloth
  • Keep away from excessive moisture to prevent tarnishing

🖼️ Artwork, Prints & Frames

  • Dust with a dry, soft cloth
  • Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the art or frame
  • Do not hang in areas with heavy moisture (bathrooms, above stoves)
  • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading

🌼 Artificial Florals & Greenery

  • Dust gently with a soft cloth or air duster
  • Spot clean leaves with a slightly damp cloth
  • Avoid submerging or machine washing

🔁 Pre-Loved Items

Pre-Loved items are carefully:

  • Cleaned
  • Sanitized
  • Refreshed
  • Inspected

before they are listed on our site.
