Return & Refund Policy — The Cozy Exchange

Thank you for shopping at The Cozy Exchange!
We want you to absolutely love the cozy pieces you bring into your home.
If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.


🧡 Eligible Returns (New Items Only)

We accept returns on new, unused, and undamaged items within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be in the same condition you received it
  • It must be unused, unwashed, and free of odors or damage
  • It must include original packaging (if applicable)

To begin a return, please contact us with your order number.


Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Pre-Loved Finds
  • Clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or customized items

Pre-Loved items are one-of-a-kind and fully described before purchase, so they are final sale.


📦 Return Process

  1. Contact us within 10 days of receiving your item
  2. We will provide return instructions
  3. Ship your item back using any carrier you choose
  4. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless we made an error or the item arrived damaged.


💳 Refunds

Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method.

Refund timing:

  • Please allow 3–5 business days after we receive your return
  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to process the refund

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


🚨 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours
  • Include photos of the damage or issue

We will replace the item or issue a full refund.


⏱️ Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund seems delayed:

  1. Check your bank or card account
  2. Contact your card issuer
  3. If you still don’t see the refund, reach out to us and we’ll assist you

🎁 Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different item, simply:

  1. Return your original purchase
  2. Place a new order when your refund is processed
